The refurbishment works at 190–192 Sloane Street have now been successfully completed, with the client extremely satisfied with the finished result. The project included the refurbishment of the glass cladding across the three elevations above Louis Vuitton, together with extensive maintenance and repair works to the roof areas and the rear concrete escape staircase.
The glass façades have been fully restored through the replacement of all mastic joints, complete redecoration where required, and a comprehensive clean, significantly enhancing the building’s appearance. Extensive concrete repairs and metal balustrade repairs and replacements were also undertaken to the rear escape staircase, leaving it structurally sound, safe, and finished to a high decorative standard.
Roof maintenance included all necessary patch repairs and the installation of new leadwork where required, followed by the application of a solar-reflective coating to improve both durability and performance. The replacement of roof access doors and the installation of new rubber flooring have further refreshed the entire roof area.
Overall, this has been a highly successful project, delivering a significant improvement to both the appearance and condition of the building, giving it a renewed lease of life.
