We’re pleased to be carrying out remedial internal works to the floor slab within an operational Evri parcel warehouse unit located at Medway Valley Park, Rochester.
The project primarily involves:
- Cutting out sections of the existing concrete floor to allow for further investigation.
- Inspecting and safely infilling an existing void in accordance with structural engineer recommendations.
- Reinstating the concrete floor slab to match the existing finish.
Working within a busy, fully operational warehouse presents additional logistical and safety considerations. To minimise disruption and reduce interaction between our team, warehouse operations and site traffic, the works are planned to take place outside of the warehouse’s busier periods, when vehicle and pedestrian movements are significantly reduced.
Safety remains a key priority throughout the project. We’ll continue working closely with the client’s representative to coordinate our activities around ongoing warehouse operations, ensuring the works are delivered safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption.
Another project demonstrating the importance of careful planning, effective site management and quality workmanship in live operational environments.
We deliver a wide range of industrial unit dilapidation and refurbishment projects each year, working across a variety of live and vacant environments.
If you’re planning an industrial refurbishment, dilapidation works or similar project and would like to discuss our experience, please get in touch.
We’d be happy to share relevant case studies and project examples from our portfolio.
