We’re pleased to announce that works are progressing well on our external refurbishment and redecoration project at 68 Queens Gardens, a Grade II listed end-of-terrace residential property located just a short distance from Paddington Station.
The project focuses on the careful repair, restoration and redecoration of the building’s external elevations, helping to preserve and enhance the appearance of this characterful property while addressing areas of deterioration and wear.
Following the erection of the scaffolding, clad with our traditional blue netting, our scope of works includes:
- Masonry repairs – including repairs to existing render and decorative cornice details.
- Replacement cast iron rainwater pipes – replacing old and damaged sections with new cast iron pipework.
- Complete external redecoration – including thorough preparation and the application of appropriate coatings to the building’s external surfaces.
As a Grade II listed building, particular care and attention is being given throughout the project to retain and respect the property’s original architectural character and decorative features. All repair and preparation works are being undertaken with the aim of achieving a high-quality finish while preserving the building’s distinctive appearance.
The project is now progressing well, and we’re looking forward to seeing the transformation continue to take shape over the coming weeks.
