The scaffold has now been dismantled down to gantry level, and we are currently carrying out the final works in preparation for handover.
Masonry, roof, and timber repairs have been completed. We are now installing an asphalt covering to the first-floor balcony, along with new lead aprons and flashings where required.
The portico columns have undergone extensive restoration following many years of water ingress from a leaking substrate above, which penetrated the columns and caused the render to fail. The columns have now been reformed and will shortly be redecorated and finished with hand-painted numerals.
