Set on one of London’s few remaining private roads, Ely Place is a unique, traffic-free oasis in the heart of the City’s bustling commercial district.
Steeped in history, the site was once home to the former Ely Palace – a magnificent inner-city residence referenced in Shakespeare’s Richard II. It also famously hosted King Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon for a lavish five-day feast in 1531.
Collins are delighted to have been appointed to undertake a comprehensive programme of external refurbishment works at this prestigious location.
The project will include masonry restoration, roofing repairs including slate replacements, installation of new ridge tiles, box gutter repairs, resin repairs to window finishes, and full external redecoration.
We look forward to sharing the transformation works as they progress.
