Collins are progressing well with the final stages of works at 2-8 Hyde Park Gardens.
This final phase includes damp-proofing to two flats using a guaranteed system, together with all necessary enabling and making-good works.
To three terraces, we have removed the existing patio finishes and are installing Langley liquid waterproofing systems following reports of water ingress into the flats below.
One of the three terraces was found to be beyond economical repair. As a result, we have introduced a new tapered insulation scheme to bring the terrace up to current regulations. To facilitate these works safely, we have introduced a temporary roof to allow the existing roof coverings to be fully stripped, the substrate to be made good, and a new screed installed prior to the application of the new tapered insulation and waterproofing systems.
The final phase will also include the installation of new paving on pedestals to complete the works.
We continue to work closely with the property managers to coordinate access arrangements for the remaining works, with a particular focus on minimising disruption to residents while ensuring the private gardens remain fully accessible and enjoyable throughout the summer period.
