Today we are starting works to Selstead Primary School.
We have been instructed by Kent County Council to carry out the refurbishment of a prefabricated single storey classroom block.
Selsted Church of England Primary School was originally built in 1871 and is a school built on Christian values and a love of learning. This flint constructed building has a great deal of character and charm with an extensive history to match.
To cater for its growing popularity the school has benefited from several additions over the years to the main building, along with the need for three additional prefabricated classrooms, that are being refurbished as part of our works.
We look forward to modernising and transforming this run-down building and classroom ready for the start of the new school year in September.
Our works will include the following;
- Roof replacement with new insulation scheme
- Replacement rainwater goods
- Introducing insulated cladding to the façade
- Rebuilding new entrance / exit ramps
- Replacement windows & doors
- Associated landscaping & paving works
- Lighting & Power upgrades
- General repairs
- Replacement flooring
- Complete internal redecoration
We shall share updates as works unfold on site.
