Collins have commenced works onsite today with the Roof Replacement Project to this 59-year-old fire station, commissioned and opened back in 1967.
The station is responsible for responding to a variety of incidents including fires, flooding and road traffic collisions, within the local area and is one of the few stations that houses a pump ladder fire engine and a Fire Rescue Command Unit for when specialist rescue techniques are required.
We have been instructed by the London Fire Brigade (LFB) to replace the existing roof coverings to 14no roofs with new liquid applied roof coverings including upgrading insulation, in accordance with Bauder roof specification.
To facilitate these works we have extensive M&E works to validate, remove and reinstate on completion.
We look forward to sharing updates as the works progress.
