Following the successful completion of the external and internal refurbishment works at Albemarle, a prestigious residential development comprising 42 apartments in the Wimbledon area, we were instructed to return to site to undertake further works as part of the building’s Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme, helping to protect the fabric of the building and maintain its long-term performance.
Due to the significant number of mature trees surrounding the property and its close proximity to Wimbledon and Putney Commons, the building had experienced a long-standing issue with leaves and debris accumulating within the guttering system. To address this, we were instructed to design and install bespoke gutter guard systems across the affected areas.
The works were carried out using a suitably sized Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP), enabling safe access to all required locations and allowing the installation to be completed efficiently and to the highest safety standards. The new gutter protection system will help reduce ongoing maintenance requirements, prevent blockages, and improve the overall performance and longevity of the rainwater goods system.
