Last week at our Hill House project, our long-standing Carpenter and Project Manager, Neil Davis, spent time teaching two of our apprentices the craft of creating a mason’s mitre on the kitchen worktops.
As part of our apprenticeship programme, five trainees are currently gaining hands-on experience in both first and second fix carpentry. These practical skills and on-site tasks help them build the knowledge and confidence needed to meet the criteria for their end-of-year assessments while developing their expertise in the trade.
