As part of the on-going works to the lift shaft extension and common parts upgrade, we have recently taken receipt and installed the fully restored Front Entrance Doors.
The doors were removed, stripped of all ironmongery and sent away to our joiners to be refurbished.
All layers of varnish and lacquers were removed to identify the extent of the repairs; we then repaired the doors with new replacement sections and mouldings as necessary and sent onto the French polisher for finishing.
Whilst the works were being undertaken, the client requested we introduce temporary plywood doors with vinyl graphics to replicate the actual doors to remain inconspicuous for the duration of these works.
Both us and the client are very happy with the finished doors, and we look forward to sharing more photos of the whole project shortly.
